FoxyTunes for Firefox is a little plug-in that allows you to control your music. This great application has been around for quite a while, and its popularity has been increasing ever since. It deals with a common problem of the multi-tasker: doing as much as he/she can from a single location. This application installs a bar at the bottom of your web browser (or at the top) from where you can control everything about your media player. The application supports iTunes, Windows Media Player, and some other players. You can open songs, pause, stop, play, rewind, skip ahead, go to the next song, and more. With the latest versions, you can even use the bar to find other types of content, such as lyrics and songs. This is a really great add-on that helps you in not having to open another window simply to pause your music. You can actually put the control bar anywhere in your web browser, and you can even choose from several designs to fit your liking. FoxyTunes is stable and you will not even notice it is there, until you need to stop that ugly song you have on your playlist. |
